Over the past couple weeks I felt that I have lost my focus, motivation, ambition, whatever you want to call it. I do not know the cause. It could be the fact that I have been working 10-12 hour days and when I get home I am too damn tired to hit the road, or the process of setting up a new home. In either case, I need to give myself a swift kick in the backside and get moving again. I have only taken the opportunity to run once in the past couple weeks (4 miles). Plus, I have been eating food that I know I should not. I will get back in the saddle, I have to…no if’s and’s or but’s about it.
So, please stick with me. I have not quit, just a short hiatus of sorts. I need to rework my run schedule seeing that I work Friday through Monday now. Re-focus my efforts to those things that are most important. Staying healthy!
Oh boy! I have been there buddy. BUT DON’T, under any circumstances, GIVE UP!!!!!!! You have come too far and have put way too much effort into your new healthier lifestyle to give up. YOU HAVE WHAT IT TAKES. You are soooooo worth it. My recommendation is to start from day one and read your own blog. See what an inspiration you are. Be your own inspiration. I don’t know you from Adam, but I do know that you have the strength, the courage, the stamina to continue. Go for it, John, YOU CAN DO IT!!!! There are plenty of us standing right behind you, cheering you on the whole way, each and every step. Take care and I look forward to reading your next post. Keep your chin up, okay!!!!!!
Oh, I am in now way giving up! Just a little speed bump in life is all.
That’s so good to hear. We all have to deal with those darn, nasty speed bumps. But sometimes, I think they make us stronger! Best of luck to you! And I do look forward to reading about your progress week to week, no matter how big or small!
Oh boy John im just waiting for the green light and I hope to be starting from scratch again myself. After the month I had (heart troubles, Dad passing) I could use those as excuses but I’m holding myself up to keep up with you, LOL You are definitely an inspiring force to my motivation. Glad to see finally wrote something
Glad to see you posting again! I have been following you since October, and look forward to the updates. Inspiring when they are positive, and definitely relate-able when there are setbacks. Keep up the good work!
John, I too wait patiently for your posts each week! Losing your mojo is part of the process; knowing that you lost it is a good step; just pick it up today and start working on it. one minute at a time, one hour, whatever it takes.
John, just take a little time and re-focus! I am pulling for you!
You should wear a broche for good luck! HeHe
