Was a bit disappointed this morning…
I went to weigh in this morning and found that I had not lost a single pound. I do not know why. I have been keeping to a 1400-1500 calorie diet over the last week and I even ran a couple days. Perplexing. I use Livestrong’s site to track everything I eat. I am just confused.
Perhaps my system is in shock? I think I am going to look into Weight Watchers. Anybody have any thoughts on that subject?
I will keep plugging away at it. Something has got to turn around soon.
I’m currently doing the old system of weight watchers. very easy to do if you can look up calories and such. but it is a slow weight loss. But I’m told it’s a healthier way to drop the pounds. Don’t get discouraged John. Your body has to get used to the new change again I’m thinking.
What kinds of food are you eating for that 1500 calorie’s per day? It does make a difference what kind of food you eat…a calorie is not a calorie is not a calorie….Eat low glycemic foods! That is the way to go for a healthy body. Eating low glycemic foods changes your body composition….more lean muscle mass and less fat is what you want. You want to take up less space not necessarily focusing on weight loss.
Yogurt, bran cereal, low fat milk, whole wheat bread, 97% fat free meat, tons of fruit, whole grain rice, etc. Following all the portions.
